UI Team Lead role

The opportunity

Permanent UI Team Lead role in an award winning employee software recognition company based in Dublin

The Right Fit

Will have experience in driving the quality of design work being released into the product, both from branding and UI to deliver engaging experiences for millions of users

The Responsibilities of the role

*Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of design work being released into the product, both from branding and UI

*Manage a small team of designers responsible for client implementations

*Manage and govern the design team style guide for all UI components used across the application

*Champion the design language and effectively communicate this continuously throughout the design team

*Work with Front End developers to build and maintain a live component library

*Be involved in UX meetings and help to define an efficient workflow between UX and UI

*Carry out interface and visual design as part of a role that seamlessly blends branding and UI

*Work closely with UX to build out a vision for the product and how we can redesign Legacy styles and components.

What you will need to have

*At least 4 years' experience working in a Lead UI role.

*Experience managing and mentoring designers is a must

*Ability to manage time effectively among multiple projects and tasks.

*An outstanding portfolio displaying visual design and UI work is essential.

*High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

*Passion for attention to detail

*Experience working in an agile software environment is an advantage

*Excellent communication/teamwork skills.
