At this time a Shipping & Production Specialist is needed to be responsible for working as a back-up to all team members within the Shipping & Production area. Focuses on quality while maintaining efficiency. Relies on previous experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
We are hiring for the shift of Monday-Friday 11am-8pm.
Works with the Production Specialist to process all print jobs as needed.
Assists with monitoring paper usage and paper track inventory levels, as needed.
Ensures quality control of all orders processed to ensure accuracy and consistency of order fulfillment.
Mail merge/automated daily letter file printing as needed.
Works with Finishing Specialist to coordinate finishing efforts with production and shipping team.
Completes all finishing related tasks including: shrink wrapping, shrink wrapper maintenance, padding, padder cleaning, scoring paper (Preprint), and folder operation as needed.
Keeps all finishing areas in clean and safe condition.
Empties the cutting equipment as needed.
Works with Shipping Specialist to accurately account for and tracking of shipments.
Fills daily incoming supply orders.
Closes corresponding supply order notes in OAMS daily, as needed.
Communicates with associates and vendors via email, our online account management system and in-person.
Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers on an as needed basis when Shipping Coordinator is unavailable/out of the office.
Prepares launch kits for dealership kickoffs.
Pulls inventory as needed.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Unloads and stocks delivered items into the shipping department.
Strives to enforce and live the NAE Philosophy of CQSE each and every day.
Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The ability to maintain several professional (very large) copy, binding and scanning printers, including diagnosing printer jams and maneuvering within the fiery controller.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with ease.
Ability to multi-task, work as a member of a team, handle unforeseen pressure and keep a positive attitude.
Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple issues and demands.
Previous experience in a print production role/environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to communicate and work with multiple personalities.
Previous experience utilizing Fiery print controller
Previous experience utilizing UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager
