Experience Designer (UI/UX)

As an Experience Designer at Sapient, you will be responsible for the navigation, organisation, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for leading-edge complex transactional systems. This involves application of user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class user experiences for leading companies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing the navigation, taxonomy, and interaction design for a new platform GUI

Assess an existing trading platform for usefulness, usability, visual design and content

Translate stakeholder feedback into design mockups in Sketch app where necessary

Utilise low-fidelity, medium-fidelity, high-fidelity prototypes across different stages of the design process

Other Responsibilities

Lead participatory design/user testing sessions with oversight

Develop user journeys and B2B personas, informed by business task flows

Assist in identifying and documenting meaningful patterns from the findings

Identify and document meaningful patterns from the user research and UX audit findings

Provide recommendations to the client/internal team based on findings

Prepare, conduct, and analyse behavioral in-context research events

Organise opportunities into visually compelling matrices or maps with guidance and oversight

Execute participatory requirements gathering sessions, participate in debrief sessions

Conduct and analyse stakeholder interviews to understand key success factors for a project or pursuit

Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders with research and best practice annotations

Develop detailed sitemaps of all levels as required

Job Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their though process around user-centered design methods and techniques

Industry experience within fintech organisations delivering complex transactional system projects ideal

Proficient to expert in: Sketch (required), UI prototyping tool (Flinto/Axure/Framer.js or Figma desired)

Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills, as well as verbal and written skills

Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams

Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred

Prior experience in mobile UI design for both iOS and Android a plus

HCI/Design-related field graduate a plus
