BlackArrow is looking for a senior user interface designer with an enthusiasm for building better user experiences from start to finish. You will be responsible for design and production of Web applications using HTML/CSS and JavaScript while working closely with other designers and the engineering team. You should possess a strong portfolio of Web and user interface design.

Responsibilities:

* Create functional wireframes to help build and improve the user experience
* Develop prototypes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Produce clean code that can easily be integrated by engineering

Specific Skills

Requirements

* 5+ years of Web design/development experience
* Strong conceptual, design and production skills
* Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills
* Highly skilled with Illustrator / Flash / Dreamweaver / Fireworks / Photoshop
* Experience building sites/applications that are cross-browser compatible
* Self-directed, able to perform tasks under limited supervision
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Strong portfolio of Web design, UI design or wireframe examples
* AS, BA or BS in graphic design Web/interactive, or human computer interaction preferred, or equivalent experience
