Benchmarc Display is an established designer and producer of in-store marketing solutions for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies. Our unique approach to understanding the shopper and the brand has been our strategy for creating successful, award-winning point-of-purchase displays and retail environments for over 35 years. Our body of work ranges from signage systems and interactive electronic displays all the way up to large scale store-in-store shopping environments.

We are looking for an innovative designer and problem solver to join our creative team. Our team members take a ‘hands on’ approach to researching retail environments and developing solutions that will connect the brand message with shoppers in-store. The ideal candidate will be able take initial concepts from rough sketches to presentation renderings and technical drawings.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design
• 2 years of experience in product, exhibit, or point-of-purchase design

Specific Skills

•Ability to understand a brand’s sense of aesthetics and style and translate that into designs that will connect with shoppers at the store level

•Excellent visual communication skills, including quick sketching

•Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a team of designers, account executives, product developers, and project managers

•Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software, preferably FormZ or Solidworks

•Ability to create exploded views and technical drawings to communicate how designs will be produced

•An understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

•Proficiency in Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
