Tandem is a fast growing product development firm currently looking for an ID intern starting from the 2010 Spring Semester.

We are looking for an industrial design intern with great sense of form and passion for design. Ideal candidate should be majored in ID, junior or senior year student, with strong form development, 3D modeling skills. If you live & breath design and can sketch with your eyes closed, we want to talk to you!

Support all areas of design with specific tasks including:product research, ideation/sketching, brainstorming, placement study, 3D rendering, presentation preparation, User Interface Design Support, product graphics support, graphics design

Main Functions:

Supporting the general needs of the design team, be the creative addition to the Tandem design team, developing and seeing through design from concept to final deliverables, working with ID staff on projects and seeking out feedback whenever possible.

California candidates preferred.

Specific Skills

Exceptional sketching skills and supurb form development skills . A great sense of form and design trends, strong problem solving skills. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Unigraphics/Solid Works, Bunkspeed. Positive Attitude and team player.
